Tamron Adaptall-2 70-210mm f3.8-4 46A Review
This
lens is probably one of the very under-rated Tamron Adaptall lenses. It
is smaller and lighter than the 19AH and a little slower (I would
consider it as a f4 constant lens). It's also push-pull zoom and my
copy's focusing ring was a tad stiff. However, when I compared the 46A's
image output, it's almost as good as the 19AH. Check out the photos
below and see for yourselves.
The lens' closes focusing distance is 0.9m and macro magnification is 1:2.6, really close to the 19AH. The build material however is half plastic, half metal and the focusing and push-pull mechanism isn't as smooth as the 19AH or 23A.
